Key Highlights

  • POS Online provides 5 kinds of Sales reports & statistics: by Product/Category/Account/ Customer/Customer Segmentation/Tag.
  • Each kind of report will have each meaningful insight for each activity or plan of your business such as promotion plan, advertising plan, or operational plan.
  • Sales Statistics by Product/Category is the sale performance of your business by-products for sale/by categories of products for sale.
  • Sales Statistics by Account is the sale performance of your business by created Staff Accounts.
  • Sales Statistics by Customer is the sale performance of your business by created Customers.
  • Sales Statistics by Customer segmentation is the sale performance of your business by recorded customer segmentation information when creating sale orders.
  • Sales Statistics by Tag is the sale performance of your business by recorded sale tag when creating sale orders.
  • Only accounts having the "Sales Statistics" role in the "Sale" section can access Sales reports & statistics.

Read & Analyze Sale Statistics & Report

Open "Sale" menu and Select "Sales Statistics" and follow the below guide to read & analyze each kind of report.

Step 1: Select Report Timming

Select "Day" if you want to display Sales Statistics on a specific day. The system will automatically display statistics of the current day, click again to select another day you want to generate statistics.

Select "Week" if you want to display Sales Statistics in a specific week. The system will automatically display statistics of the current week, click again to select another week (in list of latest 12 weeks) you want to generate statistics.

Select "Month" if you want to display Sales Statistics in a specific month. The system will automatically display statistics of the current month, click again to select another month (in list of latest 12 months) you want to generate statistics.

You can also click on (*) to select another specific custom day range and time range you want to generate statistics.

The sales statistics of the selected time will be displayed by the table and visualize the value contribution of each item by the pie chart.

Step 2: Read & Analyze Sales Statistics by Product

This report is the sale performance of your business by-products for sale.

With this kind of report, you can have useful information about your products to recommend for customers:

  • best-selling products: you should select the top products having the best sales quantity to advise for customers, use as the concept to develop social contents, or fill stock or restock to meet the customer demand.
  • full set: you also should recommend the full set products by combining set of products having the best sales quantity.

You can also base on the performance of each product for sale to run promotion programs that can increase sale performance or engage with customers.

  • if you want to run the promotion to excite your customers, you should select the products having the highest sales quantity. Since they are customers' favorite products and this will make the promotion more attractive instead of selecting products which your customers are not interested in. With this demo data: Get the most favorite flower now: get 20% off for Farm Flowers for all orders in Saturday and Sunday.
  • if you want to promote products having the lowest sales quantity but turning out the high profit on every single product, you should create the combo promotion by combining with products having high sales quantity. With this demo data: Fashion Show = Dress 3 for working days and Casual Full Set 1 for weekend, saving 20$ when get both.

If you want to run the promotion to introduce the new product, you should select the time range having the high sales quantity to run the promotion (high traffic). You can also combine the new product with the best-selling products to apply the set or free sample promotion. With this demo data: The new special edition T-shit this weekend: Dress 3 + New T-Shirt = $ Dress 3.

If you want to run the social advertising, you should select best-selling or signature products as the theme for the content.

To have the accurate for the analysis, you should use data of the latest three months. Besides that, the customer behavior might be affected by the seasonality, so that to define the suitable programs for the season of the current year, you should use the data of the same period in last year.

Step 3: Read & Analyze Sales Statistics by Product Category

This report is the sale performance of your business by categories of products for sale.

You can use this kind of report to add the new product to the menu. To select the new suitable product for your store, you should base on potential product categories having the high sales quantity and also value. With this demo data: your customers love signature and dress items, so you should purchase products of these categories.

Step 4: Read & Analyze Sales Statistics by Staff Accounts

This data is essential for monitoring the operation performance of every working shift.

You should monitor this data month-by-month to rearrange the working schedule of staffs to meet the requirement of the store operation timely.
